눈을 들어 바라보라! * 아름드리 ❤ 사랑

가라사대 내가 반드시 너를 복주고 복주며 너를 번성케 하고 번성케 하리라 하셨더니 저가 이같이 오래 참아 약속을 받았느니라(히 6:14-15)

✅ 눈을 들어 바라보라
롯이 아브람을 떠난 후에 여호와께서 아브람에게 이르시되 너는 눈을 들어 너 있는 곳에서 동서남북을 바라보라 보이는 땅을 내가 너와 네 자손에게 주리니 영원히 이르리라(창세기 13:14, 15).

이 구절은 조카와 헤어진 후 아브라함의 상황이 다소 열악하게 됐을지라도 하나님께서는 그가 현재 있는 곳에서 눈을 높이 들어’ 장차 들어갈 곳을 바라보기를 원하셨다고 분명하게 밝히고 있다.

아브라함은 자신의 조건에 대해 합당한 태도를 취했다. 그 결과 사단은 하나님의 복을 아브라함으로부터 떼어 낼 수 없었다. 하나님은 아브라함에 조카와 이별하기 전보다 훨씬 더 많은 재산을 주셨고 모든 면에서 큰 복을 내리셨다.

나는 당신에게 미래의 가능성을 긍정적으로 바라보고 “없는 것을 있는 것 같이 부르라”(롬 4:17)고 권하고 싶다. 당신이 과거에 보았던 것 혹은 지금 현재 보고 있는 것이 아니라, 하나님께서 당신의 마음속에 심어 놓으신 것에 따라서 당신의 미래를 긍정적으로 생각하고 말하라.

“Saying, ‘Surely blessing I will bless you and multiplying I will multiply you.’ And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.” (Hebrews 6:14-15)

✅ Lift Up Your Eyes and Look
After Lot had parted from Abram, the Lord said to Abram, “Lift up your eyes now and look from the place where you are—northward, southward, eastward, and westward; for all the land which you see I give to you and your descendants forever.” (Genesis 13:14, 15)

This passage clearly reveals that even though Abraham’s circumstances might have seemed somewhat diminished after parting ways with his nephew, God wanted him to lift his eyes high from where he stood and look toward the land he would one day enter.

Abraham maintained the right attitude regarding his situation. As a result, Satan could not strip Abraham of God’s blessing. God gave Abraham far more wealth than he had possessed before parting with his nephew and bestowed great blessings upon him in every respect.

I encourage you to view future possibilities positively and to “call those things which do not exist as though they did” (Romans 4:17). Do not base your thoughts and words on what you have seen in the past or what you see right now; instead, think and speak positively about your future based on what God has planted in your heart.
